The Hawthorne Hog Festival first evolved in October 2003.

The focus was to create a fundraiser for the Hawthorne Recreation that could be fun and bring the Community together. We are now celebrating our 5th annual Hog Fest on Saturday October 11th 2008. We will begin the festivities at 9:00 am and end at night with Fireworks.

The Hog Fest features include: Arts & Crafts, a variety of food, kid activities, softball tournament, BBQ cook off, and the infamous Hog Chase.

The Hog Fest has averaged over 750 people at this event. Other entertainment consist of Live Bands, local talent, and an unbelievable experience.

All funds raised will go to the Hawthorne Recreation. This will help provide children that are less fortunate to participate in these events and to improve our facilities. I thank you in advance for being a part of such a great cause and look forward to seeing you at the 5th Annual Hog Fest.
